Utilising the design process, we implemented changes to Movember's leave policies. Our DEI working group took on this challenge as part of a commitment to accessibility in the workplace in a global organisation.

Our process
This is how we took our leave policies from being "industry standard" to ahead of the game.



Research
We conducted organisation wide interviews, and gave a presentation of our intent and motivations for research
Ideate
With a group made up of varying abilities, we let our imaginations run wild in regular, reoccurring meetings
Define
We defined our idea based on our interviews, feedback from HR, the executives throughout the entrie process

Prototype
We selected a few different possible models and trialed them with feedback from different teams.

Test
Based on the reception of our 3 models, we tailored the most viable and feasible of the desired changes.

Change
We facilitated the implementation of these changes across all levels of the organisation nationally.
